The psychological support is provided because many among the beneficiaries are not able to integrate in the society as active members.
Proud Lebanon believes in this department’s abilities to heal the psychological wounds and rebuild social structures after an emergency or a critical event.
Proud Lebanon aims to change the individuals approaching this service into active survivors rather than passive victims.
Increasingly Proud Lebanon has become involved in psycho-social support and has gained expertise during the previous projects.

Proud Lebanon offers what is also known as psychotherapy; talk therapy, or counselling on appointment basis.
This collaborative process between the therapist and the client aims to facilitate change and improve quality of life. This kind of therapies help people confront barriers that interfere with emotional and mental well-being, and increase positive feelings such as compassion, self-esteem, love, courage, and peace.
The priority is given to victims of discrimination, traumas, torture and those suffering due their marginalisation in the society.

In addition to the free psycho-social support, Proud Lebanon is offering free of charge psychiatric support.
