Proud Lebanon believes in this department’s abilities to heal the psychological wounds and rebuild social structures after an emergency or a critical event.
Proud Lebanon aims to change the individuals approaching this service into active survivors rather than passive victims.
Increasingly Proud Lebanon has become involved in psychosocial support and has gained expertise during the previous projects.

Proud Lebanon will offer what is also known as psychotherapy; talk therapy, or counseling on appointment basis.
This collaborative process will place between the therapist and the client that aims to facilitate change and improve quality of life. This kind of therapies will help people confront barriers that interfere with emotional and mental well-being, and it will also increase positive feelings such as compassion, self-esteem, love, courage, and peace.
The priority will be given to victims of discrimination, traumas, torture and those suffering due their marginalization in the society.
