Community-Led Care Makes the Difference
Community-led organizations have always been at the heart of the HIV response, and this newly published study is another reminder of why their work matters.
Conducted at Proud Lebanon’s peer-led clinic in Beirut, the research highlights how community-based services can make HIV and STI testing more accessible, provide immediate support, and help people overcome the stigma that too often keeps them away from care.
This publication is also a testament to the dedication of the Proud Lebanon team and everyone who believes that healthcare should be accessible, inclusive, and led by communities themselves.
If you’d like to learn more about the study’s findings and what they mean for strengthening community-led HIV responses, I invite you to read the full article. I hope you find it as insightful and inspiring as I did.
