Despite all the hardships and difficulties I faced in Lebanon as a refugee and an LGBT individual, Proud Lebanon provided me safety, care, love, psychological comfort and support, forming a "Proud of Love" for me and all those who were there.

Proud Lebanon is our safe space, where there were no safety elsewhere. It is a light of hope in a society that made us loose all hopes.

I know people say that all the time, but for me, it's true: Proud Lebanon is really my second home.

My older brother is not only homosexual and HIV positive in a country that does not respect the basic human rights but he also suffers from hearing impairment. Proud Lebanon was the only NGO that offered a safe haven for my brother and gave him a helping hand through medical and psycho-social support and for that i am forever grateful!

Proud Lebanon is home, It's a place where anyone could be himself. A light amid the darkness. Proud Lebanon is where acceptance, tolerance and love are taught. It gave me more self confidence. I learned so many things about STIs and my sexual health.
